Children’s Birthday Parties at the Black Dragon Den
Celebrate your birthday with a magical adventure at Captain Scurvy’s Black Dragon Den!
Our 60-minute parties combine costumed characters, themed activities, storytelling and a special ceremony designed around the adventure you choose.
These parties are available for children of all ages—and we truly mean all ages! One of our most recent “children’s” parties was held for a 35-year-old birthday Pirate.

Princess Birthday Party
A royal celebration fit for young—and young-at-heart—princesses!
Depending on the guests’ ages and interests, the celebration may include a tea party, royal etiquette lessons, princess games, crafts and other themed activities.
Each guest will also receive a tiara to wear as they join the royal court.
Knighting Birthday Party
Adventurers will begin their journey toward becoming honorable knights!
The celebration includes knightly games, activities and a special knighting ceremony. Guests will even have the opportunity to try on and be photographed wearing real armor provided by a Knight of the Society for Creative Anachronism.
Pirate Birthday Party
Turn your birthday crew into a band of proper pirates!
Each guest will:
Receive their own pirate name
Learn how to walk like a pirate
Learn how to talk like a pirate
Take part in a Pirate Induction Ceremony
Receive a pirate hat and eye patch to complete their transformation
The celebration may also include pirate games, crafts and other swashbuckling activities.
Fairy Birthday Party
Enter an enchanted world of fairies, wishes and woodland magic!
Guests will enjoy fairy-themed games, crafts and activities before taking part in a special Fairy Induction Ceremony led by a Fairy Queen or Fairy Princess.
Each guest will receive a pair of fairy wings as they are welcomed into the fairy realm.

Party Pricing
$250 for up to six participating guests
Additional participating guests may be added for $25 each.
Parents and accompanying adults may attend at no additional charge. Party activities, character experiences and included refreshments are reserved for participating guests.
